Access Statement
Shaping neighbourhoods, Accessible London: achieving an inclusive environment, Supplementary planning guidance, published by the Mayor of London in October 2014, defines an Access Statement as: ‘…a statement which accompanies a planning application and demonstrates how the principles of inclusive design, including the specific requirements of disabled people, have been integrated into the proposed development and how inclusion will be maintained and managed.’
